FOURTH INTERNATIONAL PRINT BIENNALE YEREVAN 2023

Regulations

In today’s world, producing an art print by means of digital imaging media is very easy and convenient, while making a printing plate in a traditional technique is rather difficult and time-consuming. It is astonishing though that some artists avoid the easiness of digital image manipulation and accessible printing and prefer the laborious process of dealing with poisonous acids, hazardous solvents, messy and sticky oil based printing inks. Perhaps the essence and the beauty of the art of printmaking are hidden in those long lasting and troublesome processes!

KulturDialog Armenien will organize the “Fourth International Print Biennale, Yerevan 2023”, in Yerevan, Armenia, in September 2023.

The aim of the  “Fourth International Print Biennale, Yerevan 2023” is to follow and to identify modern trends and tendencies in contemporary traditional printmaking, as well as to observe the exchange and fusion of rear “old fashion” techniques and current ideas. The Biennale will serve as a platform for regional and international artists working in the field of printmaking and it will definitely raise the interest of professionals and art students, as well as of the art-loving audience at large for this kind of graphic art on a national and international level.
